Delete Your GeoLapis App Account

This page explains how users can request the permanent deletion of their account and associated data from GeoLapis applications.

This deletion process applies to:

LapisAI
GeoBrief by GeoLapis

Delete your account in the app

You can delete your account directly from the app:

Open LapisAI or GeoBrief.
Sign in to the account you want to delete.
Open the app’s Settings or Profile section.
Select Account or Delete Account.
Follow the on-screen instructions and confirm the deletion.

Request deletion by email

You can also request account deletion by emailing support@geolapis.com.

Please include:

The name of the app: LapisAI or GeoBrief
The email address registered to your account
The subject line: Delete my account

We may contact you to verify that you own the account before processing the request.

Data that will be deleted

When your deletion request is completed, we will permanently delete or anonymize the personal data associated with your account, including, where applicable:

Your account profile and login information
Saved reports, projects, files, and other user-generated content
Account preferences and app activity associated with your identity
Other personal information stored as part of your account

Processing time and data retention

We aim to complete verified account-deletion requests within 7 days.

Limited records may be retained where reasonably necessary to comply with legal, accounting, fraud-prevention, dispute-resolution, or security obligations. Any retained information will be protected and deleted when the applicable retention period expires.

Subscriptions: Deleting your GeoLapis account may not automatically cancel an active subscription purchased through Google Play or the Apple App Store. You should cancel the subscription separately through your app-store subscription settings to prevent future renewals.
